Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: + Ability to manage crises in compliance with MANDT principles, WGS policy, and Wyoming State Law. + Ability to participate, implement, and utilize advanced crisis intervention training. + Basic and MANDT training. + CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens training. + Defensive Driving Certification. + Suicide Intervention and Prevention training. + Knowledge of PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) standards and practices. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Youth Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Youth Services Aide OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Youth Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Youth Services Aide Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + This position will work 10-hour shifts + May be required to work weekends and holidays + Must have the physical ability to complete the MANDT certification NOTES: + FLSA: Non-Exempt + All positions within the Department of Family Services will require a background check, including taking fingerprints, which will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
