**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** As a Forklift Operator, you will be integral to the warehouse and yard operations, pulling and prepping orders for shipment with precision and safety. **Responsibilities** + Participate in a morning huddle to discuss daily goals. + Pull and prepare orders left from the previous day and address urgent orders promptly. + Operate heavy-duty 8-10,000 lb forklifts to efficiently pull and prepare orders. + Restock parts as needed to maintain inventory. + Perform cleaning duties in the warehouse and yard to ensure a safe and organized environment. + Power wash equipment using 2500 psi to prepare for shipment. + Cross-train to use a spray gun for painting custom-ordered equipment. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience. + Proficiency in using a forklift to safely load and unload trucks. + Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and care. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with yard jockey tasks is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. You will join a team of 4 in the warehouse, contributing to a small, close-knit group. The position requires working 4 shifts of 10-11 hours each week, with a unique weekday off. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goochland, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
