**Job Title: Yard Worker** **Job Description** The Yard Team Member is responsible for the final movement of all pre-cast concrete pieces at the plant. Utilizing industrial-sized equipment, the team member is tasked with loading, offloading, and transferring pre-cast pieces, ensuring they are ready for installation at the job site. This role is crucial in the pre-cast process and requires adherence to safety, quality, and productivity targets. The Yard Team Member operates in all-weather conditions and follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions effectively. **Responsibilities** + Operate industrial-sized equipment for loading, offloading, and transferring pre-cast concrete pieces. + Ensure all pre-cast pieces are ready for installation at job sites. + Work in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity targets. + Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines for job functions. **Essential Skills** + Experience working in an outside environment. + Forklift experience. + Rigging experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be over 18 to apply. + Have a team-centered attitude. + Desire to learn and grow. + Positive attitude is more important than experience. **Why Work Here?** As a union company, employees are hired in after 60 days and enjoy great insurance benefits. Union dues are required after 60 days, ensuring job security and employee rights. **Work Environment** The position is currently for the 1st shift only, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The work involves both indoor and outdoor settings, which can be extremely hot or cold depending on the weather. Employees work in large buildings with substantial equipment, which may be overwhelming to those unfamiliar with such environments. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hard hats, are required. The company provides safety glasses and hard hats. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Beloit, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $23.23/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
