**Job Title: Facilities Technician** Job Description This permanent position involves assisting the Lead Service Technician with various duties related to the remodeling and cleaning of industrial trailers. The main functions include cleaning, assembly, maintenance, and painting. Carpentry skills are considered a plus. Responsibilities + Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and building systems function efficiently, preventing deterioration. + Inspect and test machinery or equipment to diagnose mechanical problems and determine solutions, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. + Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. + Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters; and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. + Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other machinery parts. + Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges. + Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, then reassemble equipment. + Record the type and cost of maintenance or repair work completed.
