Job Title: Yard Associate - Scaffolding TeamJob Description

Join our team as a Yard Associate, where you will start by supporting our scaffolding team at our main location before transitioning to our traveling team. In this role, you will handle equipment logistics, sort through scaffold materials, and support carpenters and foremen by loading and unloading trucks. You will also manage inventory and, after gaining experience, assist in setting up job sites and erecting scaffolds across various locations.

ResponsibilitiesStation and retrieve equipment on the property's location.Sort through scaffold materials in the yard.Load and unload company trucks for carpenters and foremen.Take inventory of materials in the yard.Set up job sites in the morning and build/erect scaffolding.Move materials around the site and assist the foreman with various duties.Help dismantle scaffolds alongside the scaffolder.Utilize a hammer to build scaffolds outdoors.Assist in loading company trucks and building/dismantling units on site.Travel across the Charlotte area as required.Wear a harness for work up to 10 feet initially, with certification for higher heights after 90 days.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and general labor.Ability to perform heavy lifting.Experience working outside in construction, carpentry, or similar fields.Mechanical aptitude and experience with tools such as tape measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with power tools, carpentry, or hands-on experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work outdoors on construction sites and at a large, open yard facility. Benefit from a spacious two-story indoor facility with break rooms, water coolers, and vending machines. Experience working at the largest division location, offering ample space and resources.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
