This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, inspecting and checking in cars, and conducting an inventory of vehicles sent by insurance companies.
ResponsibilitiesVisually inspect totaled vehicles sent by insurance companies.Conduct a thorough inventory of vehicles, noting the condition of glass, body panels, and basic interior components.Attempt to start vehicles and use a battery pack to jump-start if necessary.Enter vehicle information using a handheld device similar to a tablet.Work independently with minimal supervision, using handheld radio for support.
Essential SkillsExperience using a smartphone or tablet.Basic knowledge of car parts and components such as fenders, bumpers, hoods, and trunks.Basic computer skills.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Ability to learn quickly with a short training period of 3 days.No formal training required; general labor or construction experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
This is an outdoor job conducted in the yard, requiring personal safety gear and appropriate clothing. Employees will have breaks and lunches indoors, with additional breaks during severe weather. The work environment is casual, requiring jeans and steel-toe footwear, with no large logos or offensive prints. Located in the Aliquippa area industrial park, the yard is fenced, and the office space is clean and open, with only three employees on site.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
