**Job Title: Yard Jockey** Job Description The individual will be responsible for supporting the material handlers out in the yard. The role requires working outside and involves physical activity 95% of the time. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be reading numbers on crates or truck beds. Responsibilities + Move materials throughout the yard by hand. + Work outdoors and remain on your feet for the entire shift. + Be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in any climate. Essential Skills + General labor experience + Production experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous forklift experience is a plus. + Experience with overhead cranes is advantageous. Work Environment The role operates Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, and on Friday from 6am to 3pm, with no typical work on Saturdays. The position is based in a manufacturing shop with approximately 18 workers, where trucks are parked and equipment like power tools and welders are in use. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, long pants, and a shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
