**Radiologic Technologist**

At **University Health** , our Radiologic Technologists play a critical role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic care to our diverse patient community. Whether in trauma, outpatient, or routine diagnostics, your skill in medical imaging directly supports life-saving clinical decisions.
**Your Role:**
As a **Radiologic Technologist** , you will:
+ Perform **diagnostic imaging procedures** using state-of-the-art radiologic equipment
+ Ensure **image quality** and patient comfort during every procedure
+ Complete all aspects of exam workflow including **room prep, patient positioning, and documentation**
+ Communicate clearly with patients and staff to explain procedures and address concerns
+ Work under the guidance of lead technologists and supervisors, with growing autonomy over time
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Graduate of an accredited **Radiologic Technology program**
+ **Registry-eligible or registered** with ARRT; must pass certification **within 6 months of graduation**
+ Maintain **CPR certification** as a condition of continued employment
+ Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
+ Must be able to lift up to **50 lbs** and assist in patient movement
+ Proficiency with computer systems for **image and patient data entry**
+ Ability to work with patients of all ages
**Career Advancement:**
Technologists are encouraged to pursue advanced certification and may be eligible for promotion to **Senior Specialized Technologist** after achieving credentials in:
+ **CT (Computed Tomography)**
+ **MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)**
+ **Mammography**
