**Job Title: X-Ray Inspector** **Pay: $28-34/hour** **Description** Radiographer (x ray inspector) will perform inspections and testing on industrial gas turbines and perform structural testing. Day to day: Come in, start the day by doing calibration checks on the equipment and reading areas. Interpret the film, fill out necessary reports, map out defects. The inspector will have a reader sheet that lists the different views. Accept and reject parts. Close out work travelers and provide a certification. It is a repeated process throughout the day. Workload varies because one day this person could help filing film , logging in product , processing the parts, shooting the product but the main responsibilities will be interpreting the images that are being created. Some days might be slower than others. They do everything in-house.
