Role

The HPE Data Solutions business is a critical component of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s overall strategy. It plays a pivotal role in helping customers manage and leverage their data effectively. The Director, India Data Solutions, will lead HPE’s storage sales organization in one of the company’s most strategic growth markets. This role will report into the WW Data Solutions Sales Leader and is responsible for driving customer engagement, market expansion, and sales execution across India.

Responsibilities  Lead the development and execution of the India Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for HPE’s Data Solutions portfolio.Manage and inspire India-based sales and presales teams to drive operational excellence and high performance.Build a strong storage sales organization through coaching, talent development, and recruitment.Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Channel, GreenLake, and Hybrid Cloud teams to deliver integrated programs tailored to India.Drive transformation by championing Data Services, HPE GreenLake, and next-generation storage solutions.Develop deep relationships with C-level customers, partners, distributors, and ecosystem influencers.Track India market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.Represent HPE at India industry forums, customer advisory boards, and partner events.Ensure disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strong operational governance.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in storage, cloud, data services, or enterprise technology sales leadership in the India market.Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional GTM strategies with strong revenue results.Proven ability to lead and scale diverse sales and presales teams.Deep understanding of the India storage and cloud competitive landscape.Strong executive presence with ability to engage credibly at the C-suite level.Exceptional communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.Strategic thinker with operational discipline and execution capability.Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.Ability and willingness to travel across India and occasionally internationally.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate is a commercial and energetic. In summary she or he will have the following experience.

Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the technology industry, preferably in storage solutions or related fields.Strong track record of successfully developing and executing GTM strategies and driving revenue growth.Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing large, diverse teams.Deep understanding of the storage market and key players, with the ability to navigate complex sales environments.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at the C-level.Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
