The LPN candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a deep commitment to patient well-being, and hands-on experience treating a range of wounds—including surgical incisions, diabetic ulcers, and pressure injuries. As a Wound Care LPN, you will play a key part in supporting patient recovery and promoting optimal healing outcomes. Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: + competitive compensation + generous medical benefits plan + 401K + collaborative work teams Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): + Conduct comprehensive assessments of wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans. + Monitor wound progression, document changes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans. + Collaborate with wound care specialists and physicians to optimize treatment strategies. + Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and therapeutic interventions for various wound types. + Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective wound management. + Provide clear instructions and support to ensure adherence to wound care protocols. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatment plans, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR). + Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. + Stay current with the latest wound care techniques and treatments by participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities.
