Workplace Solutions - Data Analyst, Vice President

The Marketing Data Analyst within J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions is responsible for measuring the effectiveness of our B2C wealth conversion and B2B enterprise marketing campaigns. This role focuses on analyzing performance, developing reporting, and informing strategies to grow our business, enhance long-term account engagement, and create firmwide cross-selling opportunities. The role will report to the Martech Lead and will work closely with the CMXO to align data-driven insights with strategic business goals.

 

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners, finance, and domain experts to understand business problems and develop new strategies. Consult on experimental design and data collection, ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations and best practices in data handling and storage. Interpret and present findings to stakeholders and senior management in a clear, logical, and persuasive manner, using effective visualizations. Perform ad hoc analysis to provide actionable insights on product performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Collaborate with data engineers, machine learning engineers and dashboard developers to automate and optimize business processes. Identify unexplored opportunities to change how we do business using data. Lead innovation projects to drive advanced analytics. Maintain a rigorous control environment to ensure accurate and timely results, with a strong emphasis on compliance with GDPR regulations.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

5+ years of experience in applying statistical methods to real-world problems. Experience with relational databases, optimizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation, and ad-hoc analyses. Experience with business intelligence analytics and data preparation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Python, etc. Leverage expertise in big data and statistics to tackle open-ended business challenges, using predictive analytics and data modeling to support business growth and innovation. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance). Ability to understand business context and identify opportunities in data. Experience in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team. Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe). Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Fluency in GDPR regulations and data handling practices, with a strong understanding of how to manage and store data appropriately within the EU.

Intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and ability to solve unstructured problems independently. Familiarity with machine learning. Experience in marketing analytics.
