Workplace Experience Manager - Los Angeles
**About this role:** As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will beresponsible for leading employees that supervise the delivery of workplaceexperience services. Examples of services include Concierge, Reception, Meeting& Event Management, and administrative office duties. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. Theyare responsible for providing premier customer service to the clients andvisitors of a designated building. **What You’ll Do:** + Provide formal supervision to employees.Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performanceevaluations and mentor. Supervise the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and manage the team's daily tasks.Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and trackstaff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Build and maintain a trusted clientrelationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolveconflicting priorities. + Make sure that the team's support is bothstreamlined and reliable. Suggest process improvement efforts on a regularbasis. Assist with developing strategic solutions. + Assess technological and training needs forWorkplace Experience teams and clients. Always follow safety standards withemployees, clients, and vendors. + Develop vendor partnerships with the intentionof cost saving efforts. Handle negotiations for contract services. Validatethat all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation. + Lead all aspects of programs run by third partyvendors. This includes food delivery, coordinating events, providingtransportation, or mail distribution. Ensure all invoices for business servicesare billed. + Ensure support provided by the team is efficientand consistent. + Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests toreach an agreement. + Apply knowledge of own subject area and how ownrigor integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-dayand moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existingsystems and processes. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years ofrelevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection,training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, andrewarding performance and retention preferred. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations andhandle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate team impact onquality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills with a stronginquisitive mindset. **Why CBRE?** We value a culture of respect, integrity, service andexcellence that crafts our approach to every opportunity! California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Manager position is $112,000 annually, and the maximum is $120,000, with up to 10% Annual Performance Bonus. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
