**About the role**
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Associate – Console Operator, you will be responsible for delivering world-class customer service experience to employees and guests of the site.
This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. This primarily a sedentary multitasking position.
This is a 2,2,3 schedule working days and overnight shifts. Day shifts are 6am-6pm and overnight is 6pm-6am.
**What you’ll do**
+ First point of contact for all those entering the facility. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Issue visitor passes and follow security protocols allowing personnel into the site.
+ Responsible for communicating and coordinating of emergency response personnel as it relates to internal emergency medical, fire, and other related response types.
+ Make a memorable first impression by answering the telephone in a calm and professional manner.
+ Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for service as received and gather needed information for responding personnel. Transfer calls to their appropriate destination.
+ Resolve inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers. Provide solutions in a professional customer-driven manner.
+ Able to learn various computer-based systems such as visitor registration, reporting systems, notifications systems, and cameras.
+ Monitor and function of site life safety alarm panels, shelter in place system, and other notification systems as needed.
+ Review customized client materials to ensure they follow brand guidelines.
+ Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures. Notify management to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.
+ Ability to keep detailed, accurate, and neat records. As well as communicate clearly both orally and written format.
+ Follow specific directions as given by the manager and work under minimal supervision.
+ Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
+ Responsible for maintaining all mandatory personal contractor and site wide training.
**What you’ll need**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED or equivalent experience with 3-4 years job-related experience.
+ A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
+ Understanding and use of basic radio communication equipment.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
