Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman with extensive experience in field welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in managing and executing welding projects. You will be responsible for leading a team on various projects, starting with basic tasks and advancing to more complex assignments as your expertise is demonstrated.
Responsibilities:Lead a team of 1-4 individuals on welding and fabrication projects.Utilize at least 5 years of field welding experience to execute tasks efficiently.Perform STICK and MIG welding with proficiency.Layout materials by reading and interpreting blueprints, including welding symbols.Handle miscellaneous metals and operate Pettibone lifts.Ensure safety, dependability, and attention to detail in all tasks.Essential Skills:At least 5 years of field welding experience.Proficiency in STICK and MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.Experience with miscellaneous metals and Pettibone lift operation.AWS D1.1-2020 Structural Welding Code-Steel certification.Work Environment:95% of jobs are local, typically within 45 minutes to an hour from York, PA.Start your day by meeting with the crew at the shop before heading to job sites.Work on warehouse projects and installations of miscellaneous metals, including handrails and stairs.The shift begins at 6:00 AM and continues until project completion.Team sizes range from 1-4 members, with larger projects requiring multiple crews.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
