Work you’ll do

As a Workforce Compliance Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering advisory, implementation, and Operate (managed services) support that helps clients align workforce and talent strategy with evolving regulatory requirements. You will work with Deloitte teams and client counterparts to translate regulatory change into practical, scalable HR and talent programs—leveraging regulatory intelligence and advanced analytics to proactively manage risk, strengthen governance, and optimize HR operations in support of business and workforce outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead in-depth research and analysis of workforce- and HR-related regulations, translating requirements into implications for workforce strategy and talent programs.Review and assess client HR and talent documentation (e.g., policies, guidelines, handbooks, playbooks) for compliance, consistency, and alignment to workforce and talent strategy and industry best practices.Conduct comprehensive compliance gap and risk analyses, prioritizing issues and developing actionable remediation roadmaps that balance regulatory needs with workforce outcomes (e.g., hiring, mobility, performance, rewards, employee relations).Draft, edit, and standardize HR policies and employee guidance to meet regulatory and organizational requirements while enabling scalable, business-aligned talent practices.Develop and deliver client-ready findings and recommendations, communicating strategic implications to HR, Legal, and business leaders to support decision-making and adoption.Monitor emerging HR compliance requirements and workforce trends, contributing insights to workforce and talent strategy roadmaps and updating playbooks, controls, and operational guidance accordingly.

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree4+ years of experience in workforce consulting or related rolesProduced documents and presentations using PowerPoint and Excel, delivering clear verbal and written communicationsApplied analytic and data visualization skills, using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or other visualization platforms to drive decision-making.Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

HR or compliance certifications4+ years of experience supporting or leading compliance-driven organizational change initiativesDemonstrate the ability to identify and apply relevant federal, state, and local employment requirements to client scenarios by producing accurate, defensible outputs

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $218,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
