Workers Compensation Associate Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation at Marsh Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Your role as a Workers Compensation Associate Consultant is to provide professional operational support to all Marsh colleagues and clients through the administration of injury management software, insurer liaison and back-office injury management accountabilities.

This is an entry level position in Workers Compensation consulting and injury management profession, with an opportunity for significant on the job development and progression of a career in this space.

You will have significant exposure to a number of large national employers, providing support to both your colleagues and clients;

Triaging and lodgement of new claimsInbox managementSystems managementDocument and filing managementRecord managementData entryAdministrative tasks

We will count on you to:

Administering preferred injury management software (SolvInjury, DoneSafe) for selected clients and maintaining this databaseInsurer liaison with respect to injury management activitiesIntermediate Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills;Produce and/or format reports, manuals, presentations and other correspondence or documents;Generate invoices;Organise and maintain file system, file correspondence and other documentation;Maintain database and spreadsheet files;Support Workers Compensation team during busy periods;Read and route incoming correspondence;Take, type and distribute meeting minutes;Assist with workers compensation payroll and wage reimbursementsAttend industry events as required;Other tasks as directed by manager.

What you need to have:

High School Certificate or equivalent;Tertiary qualifications in administration or related studies (desired);Undertake Company directed compliance trainingExperience working in an office type environment and demonstrated proficiency in the utilisation of Microsoft office-based platforms is preferredStrong attention to detail/accuracyTier 1 compliancy will be required and facilitated by Mercer Marsh Benefits upon commencement
