Responsibilities
Carries daily Cross Dock responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.Confirm and record the receipt of shipments; oversees packing, mass receiving, mass shipping.Preparing all items for shipping, prepare and receive shipments, load and unload trucks.Manages inventory controlFast paced shipping and receiving responsibilitiesAll other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Forklift and pallet-jack experienceAbility to lift 50 pounds and more frequentlyAbility to identify and resolve issues as they ariseDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines; ability to prioritizeExcellent organizational and documentation skillsRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamStrong communication skillsExcellent customer service skills and experienceExcellent computer skills (MS Office, Word, Power Point and Excel)
Education/Experience
Previous experience with shipping and receivingPrevious exposure to rules, regulations, and policies regarding warehouse operations.
