Workday Integration Analyst – Full remote (Spain or Portugal)Lead and Optimise Workday Integration Landscape to Power Global HRIS Performance
We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Specialist with hands‑on, production‑level Workday experience to take ownership of, maintain, and continuously optimise our Workday integration landscape. This role is critical to ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data flows between Workday and a range of third‑party systems across our global environment.
This is not a general integration, middleware, or HR systems role. It is designed specifically for candidates who have built, supported, and operated integrations directly within Workday tenants. Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (REST and SOAP) in live environments, and will be comfortable taking accountability for integration design, delivery, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
The role requires a deep understanding of Workday integration architecture, including inbound and outbound integrations, data transformations using XSLT/XML, error handling, scheduling, monitoring, and security. You will act as a subject‑matter expert for Workday integrations, partnering closely with HRIS, IT, and external vendors to ensure integrations are stable, compliant, and aligned to business requirements.
This position is best suited to candidates who have worked directly within Workday’s integration framework, with practical experience using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday Web Services in live environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the Workday integration landscape, ensuring stability and scalability.Design, build, and support integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIB.Perform EIB loads and troubleshoot related issues.Develop and maintain XSLT transformations for data mapping and formatting.Build and manage API integrations (REST and SOAP) between Workday and third-party systems.Monitor integration performance, resolve errors, and implement enhancements.Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.This is perfect for someone with strong Workday experience, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across borders.
