Role Overview:
The HR Technology Workday HCM Configurator will have the privilege of handling the Workday core configuration at Otis. You will be responsible for the overall Workday configuration related to the Workday core HCM configuration. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with your customers and partners and other Workday Functional resources. The ideal candidate should have configuration experience in Workday and be willing to lead a best-in-class solution to all Otis employees.
On a typical day you will:
Provide input and techno-functional knowledge to the overall Workday HCM modulesWork directly in configurating Workday HCM modules (lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of CORE HCM business processImplement creative and effective Workday solutions meeting the business needsReview business process configurations (and able to make updates/clean-up, condition rules, validation rules, calculated fields, security, notifications) and modify existing processesCollaborate with business partners to document and enable end-to-end Workday solutionsDesign and prototype solutions (including new Workday functionality)Comfortable presenting solutions using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Workday tenant demonstrationsAble to create Workday reports showing data-driven resultsComfortable leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, able to prioritize tasks effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMentor and guide team members to promote knowledge transfer, sharing and growthIdentify and implement corrective actions quickly and independently in order to accomplish objectivesIdentify improvement opportunities for the organization and be an advocate for change.What you will need to be successfull:
Any graduates/ Master Degree8+ years of experience in deploying global Workday configurationThrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environmentExperienced in configuring Workday Business ProcessesWorkday Functional experience with HCM applicationsStrong hands-on experience with the following Workday modules: HCM and Business Process workflowBasic knowledge of AGILE and Project Management methodologies and practicesThink analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problemsAbility to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demandsEffective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with othersExcellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teamsGeneral passion in finding creative solution using the Workday applicationStrong presence in Workday CommunityIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
