**Job Title: Workday Financials R2R Consultant** **Location: Chicago, IL(Remote)** **Duration: 8+ Months Contract** **Job Description:** **Overview:** **We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workday Financials Record-to-Report (R2R) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, specifically in the Record-to-Report (R2R) domain, including general ledger, financial reporting, consolidations, and period-end close processes. You will collaborate closely with clients to design, configure, and implement Workday Financials solutions that streamline financial operations and provide actionable insights.** **Key Responsibilities:** **Lead and participate in the implementation of Workday Financials R2R processes, including General Ledger (GL), Financial Reporting, Intercompany Accounting, and Financial Consolidations.** **Partner with clients to assess their current financial processes and recommend best-practice Workday solutions.** **Configure and customize Workday Financials modules to meet business requirements.** **Support clients through data migration, system testing, and go-live activities.** **Develop financial reports and dashboards using Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.** **Conduct client workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end-users and stakeholders.** **Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.** **Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and other business units, to ensure seamless integration.** **Document functional designs, business processes, and operational workflows.** **Qualifications:** **Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.** **3+ years of experience in Workday Financials implementations, with a focus on Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.** **Strong understanding of financial accounting, period-end close processes, and financial reporting.** **Workday Financials Certification (preferred).** **Experience with Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics is a plus.** **Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.** **Ability to work in a client-facing environment with cross-functional teams.** **Preferred Skills:** **Experience in industries such as financial services, technology, or healthcare.** **Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning and Workday Accounting Center.** **Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.** **CPA, CFA, or relevant financial certification is a plus.
