Workday Cross Functional Analyst

The Workday (WD) Cross Functional Analyst plays a key role in guiding the continued design, maintenance, and support of the Workday People Experience functionality. While the Cross Functional Analyst is an integral part of the Cross Functional and Governance team, they are the technical subject matter expert determining how we adopt and optimize Workday’s capabilities and design solutions. The Workday Cross Functional Analyst is also the Tier 2/3 support resource responsible for educating end-users, supporting case management, and responding to time-sensitive inquiries in their respective areas. **What You Will Do:** + Configuring and testing Workday Everywhere and Workday Help; creating Knowledge Articles, case types, questionnaires, announcements, etc. + Optimizing process design to meet the changing needs of the business and ensure a consumer-like end-user experience + Creating and maintaining documentation for end-user adoption and training through Knowledge Articles + Developing, maintaining and, optimizing dashboards and reports to provide data-driven solutions + Working with other functional analysts and architects to design and prototype cross-functional solutions as it relates to Workday Help + Participating as a member of the Workday Governance Council and supporting the development and management of the Workday roadmap to ensure alignment to our People Experience strategy and key initiatives + Participating in system testing to ensure the successful deployment of application enhancements and releases as it relates to Workday Help + Investigating and resolving Workday issues, unexpected results, or process gaps + Maintain visibility on Workday Community and local user groups to keep abreast of new features, product defects, and advocate for desired enhancements + Subject Matter Expert on Workday Translations + Responsible for managing Workday Certification/Learning for overall Workday Product Support Team + Develop and present PowerPoint presentations, utilize Microsoft Excel at a high proficiency and ability to analyze data to providing insights that could influence process and business decisions **What You Will Have:** + Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. + Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. + Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. + Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. + Human Resources Operations: Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies, operational processes and considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. + Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. + Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation. + Workday HCM: Knowledge of all the core concepts of Workday HCM; Ability to use Workday HCM for workforce planning as per the business needs. **Top Candidates Will Also Have:** + Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills are required to effectively work with a wide range of internal customers, in a dynamic team environment to understand priorities and business needs **Additional Info** : + The primary location for this position is Irving, TX + **This role requires 5 days a week in office** + Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify + Sponsorship is **not** available **What You Will Get:** + Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
