Job Title: Woodworker

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled woodworker with carpentry expertise, preferably in exhibit, trade show, retail display, and/or commercial millwork. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced carpentry techniques using saws, routers, pneumatic nail & staple guns, gluing, and lamination, as well as various power and hand-held tools. You will work with a range of materials, including plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic, and on multiple types of equipment, such as table saws and routers. Efficiency in meeting project standards and deadlines is essential.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret work orders from the supervisor.Work with materials such as wood, plastic, metal, plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic.Utilize tools including chisels, planes, saws, drills, routers, and sanders.Perform laminating tasks.Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in woodworking, cabinetry, and carpentry.Experience with hand tools and power tools, including saws, routers, planers, chisels, and sanders.Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.Experience in working with materials such as plywood, MDF, laminate, and acrylic.Capability to lift 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsConstruction experience using hand tools and power tools.Excellent attention to detail and quality control.Knowledge and experience with pneumatic nailers and electric power tools.Flexibility to assist other departments when needed.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
