The Assembly/Prep person will be responsible for construction of subassemblies and final assemblies of customer products. He/She will also operate a variety of assembly and machining equipment, including saws, nail guns, drills and clamps. Additionally, the Assembly/Prep person will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:\n•\tMaintain a safe work environment and compliance with company safety policies.\n•\tRead and follow fixture CAD drawings to ensure consistency and design standards are met.\n•\tInspect parts and log rejects for compliance with company and customer quality standards.\n•\tEnsure completion of daily parts prepping for production.\n•\tAssemble and/or prep fixtures for final assembly and/or subassemblies, ensuring correct fit\n•\tAlerts supervisor of any assembly problems w/ details, and provide any possible solutions.\n•\tEnd of day cleanup of workbench/station and/or immediate area.\n•\tReport daily completion records to Assembly Lead and/or Floor Manager.\n•\tPerform other job-related duties or other assigned tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.\n\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\n•\tAbility to read and interpret a tape measure to 1/16” increments.\n•\tAbility to read and interpret CAD drawings.\n•\tBasic computer skills are desirable. \n•\tMust be able to find and download program files from a network server.\n•\tMust have strong mechanical aptitude.\n•\tMust be able to load and unload 4’ x 8’ sheets of plywood material on to machine table.\n•\tMust be able to read, write and verbally communicate effectively with other team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
