Pay: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Wiring Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling electrical components and structures in accordance with engineering specifications, drawings, and work orders. Key ResponsibilitiesFollow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.Safely use hand and power tools while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.Assemble switchboards and panelboards using written and verbal instructions.Verify product quality by ensuring structures are level, square, and built to specification.Inspect components for damage or defects prior to and after assembly and identify nonconforming parts.Use torque wrenches and other precision tools to tighten fasteners to the required specifications.Assemble copper bussing per design requirements and verify correct spacing and alignment.Communicate job progress, part shortages, and potential issues to supervisors and team members.Perform visual inspections and basic troubleshooting to ensure quality and functionality.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and support root cause analysis for quality or production issues.Utilize manufacturing documentation such as bills of materials, front views, drawings, and order entry systems.Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.Required Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and consistently.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Effective communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time efficiently.Comfortable using computers and CAD‑based drawings to follow design structures.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience as an assembler or wiring technician in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, and standard assembly techniques.Experience working with electrical assemblies is a plus.Why Join Us?Be part of a high‑growth manufacturing company formed through the merger of three organizations, creating strong stability and advancement opportunities.Work in an innovative environment, engineering, manufacturing, and supplying electrification products for critical infrastructure.Supportive culture built on trust, teamwork, and collaboration.Comprehensive training and development to help you succeed.Clear pathways for advancement into roles such as Quality Technician, Machine Operator, or opportunities to transfer within multiple company locations.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
