Wiring Technician
**Job Title: Wiring Technician** **Job Description** As a Wiring Technician, you will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems, including switchgears and panels. This role involves working in a production facility, performing repetitive tasks, and wiring panels based on schematics to meet production volumes. **Responsibilities** + Interpret and apply electrical schematics for panel wiring. + Use hand tools and power drills for sub-pan and systems assemblies. + Perform sub panel layouts, drill, and tap holes with minimal supervision. + Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment under supervision. + Utilize wire way and loom for wiring; demonstrate free-bundling techniques. + Wire simple relay circuits and perform daisy chaining according to drawings. + Conduct mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboards. + Mount pertinent equipment and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors. + Wire and route harnesses neatly, adhering to ISO standards. + Differentiate between A/C and D/C voltages and perform wiring duties accurately. + Crimp wires and understand the usage of hardware like screws, bolts, and nuts. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical assembly and panel wiring. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools. + Experience with point-to-point wiring and crimping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred experience in electrical assembling and point-to-point wiring. + Experience from Siemens, Raytheon, military backgrounds, or HVAC is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy growth opportunities within a large organization that values employee development. Comfortable clothing is permitted, and all necessary tools are provided. The workweek is a four-day schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime available on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of ALPHARETTA, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
