**Job Title: Wiring Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Wiring Mechanic to join our team. This role involves operating tools and equipment common to the wiring trade, such as wire strippers, pliers, and crimpers. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting documents, gathering necessary parts, marking wires, attaching terminal connectors, and ensuring the correct installation and routing of wires and cables. **Responsibilities** + Operate tools and equipment common to the wiring trade. + Scan in and out of work orders using computers and scanning devices. + Read and interpret schematics and wiring lists. + Gather wires, parts, and accessories needed for the wiring process. + Mark wires with identifying information and attach tags. + Attach wire/cable terminal connectors. + Bundle wires and fasten with straps or tape. + Mount fuse blocks and rails on assemblies. + Install, route, and connect wires/cables according to specifications. + Disconnect and reconnect wires to make adjustments. + Perform assembly with mechanic tools and blueprints. + Report non-conforming items. + Clean and maintain equipment and work area. + Perform other duties as directed by supervision. **Essential Skills** + Basic computer skills. + Use of basic mechanical and electrical tools. + Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform coordinated movements. + Capability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Basic troubleshooting skills. + Experience with harnessing and plugging is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for pay increases every six months. Training may be conducted on either the 1st or 2nd shift, depending on business needs. The work environment requires wearing common safety equipment and involves exposure to loud noises and potential physical hazards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
