Our client, an industry leader in electromechanical equipment installation, is seeking a Wiring Mechanic 2 to join their team. As a Wiring Mechanic 2, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the installation and connection of wiring on complex equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Wiring Mechanic 2 **Location:** Pomona, CA **Pay Range:** $18.50 **Shift:** 4:00PM-12:30AM **What's the Job?** + Install and connect wires on electromechanical equipment using electric and mechanical tools and schematics. + Operate tools and equipment common to the wiring trade, such as wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, and power tools. + Read and interpret wiring schematics, wiring lists, and related documents to complete wiring assignments accurately. + Gather wires, parts, and accessories needed for wiring tasks and attach proper wire/cable terminal connectors. + Mount fuse blocks, rails, and other components, and install, route, and connect wires/cables according to specifications. **What's Needed?** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Basic computer skills and familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools. + Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. + Physical ability to reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform movements such as stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, and climbing. + Must be at least 18 years of age. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a unionized environment with potential for conversion to full-time employment after 90 days. + Pay increase every 6 months upon becoming a full-time employee. + Work on second shift with training possibly on first or second shift based on business needs. + Gain valuable experience in wiring and electromechanical assembly. + Be part of a supportive team committed to safety and quality excellence.
