Job Description

Join our team as an Wireman where you will perform essential mechanical tasks in the production of control panels. Your role will involve measuring and cutting holes in metal enclosures using both hand and power tools. You will also conduct precise flat pattern layouts using a precision scale, ensuring accuracy in cut-ins on enclosures. Additionally, you will bolt and fix brackets and rails to prepare panels for further assembly. Some electrical work will be required, including reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical work for control panel production.Measure and cut holes in metal enclosures using hand and power tools.Conduct flat pattern layouts on enclosures with precision scales.Bolt and fix brackets and rails for panel preparation.Read and interpret electrical schematics.

Requirements

At least 3 years of Electro/Mechanical experience.Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.Proficient in using a tape measure and other measurement tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in low/mid-level control panel assembly.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very nice, clean, and air-conditioned shop with approximately 40 employees. The shift is from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
