GovCIO is currently hiring for Wireless Specialist- Project Planner. This position will be located in Sumter, SC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Plan and install network wireless equipment to support new and emerging requirements. Develop solutions for USAFCENT wireless network devices for routing and switching.Use USAFCENT provided wireless network devices for routing and switchingDevelop performance standards and support down-range configuration control, network restoration, and quality control.Create and maintain heat maps for all locations supported by USAFCENT wireless.  Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: SECRETIAT II certification (CCNA) CWNA certification4 years’ experience with military networks:  Wireless routing and switching technologies; managing networks with industry standard platforms, network performance analysis, wireless network configuration and troubleshooting; establishing new circuit requirements; and documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders and as-built drawings.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
