Job Description
As a Wire Technician, you will be responsible for assembling electrical or electronic systems, installing components, and ensuring that all assemblies meet specifications. This role involves using tools such as rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro welding equipment to complete your tasks efficiently. You will also adjust, repair, or replace components to correct any defects and maintain quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all assembly activities of a low voltage technician.Conduct all wiring tasks, including cutting, stripping, looming, terminating, and marking.Use small hand tools for mechanical assembly of components into cabinets.Perform functional testing and quality assurance for completed panels.Read, interpret, and comprehend electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Handle all packaging and shipping activities.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in building and wiring electrical control panels.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits and related equipment.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectronics/Technical degree preferred.Formal technical training and skills development.Possession of own tools is a plus.Experience in panel shop, aerospace environment, or vending/ATM machine repair.Hours toward 06 or 06 A certification is highly preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is based in a panel shop located in Mukilteo. The work environment is busy and cluttered, but you will have a customizable ergonomic workspace. Although you will work individually, flexibility is required to adapt to changing priorities. The base shift is standard, but there is flexibility to accommodate personal needs, such as childcare.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
