Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Wire Rope Shop Help to join their team. As a Wire Rope Shop Help, you will be part of the production team supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a self-motivated attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Wire Rope Shop Help
**Location:** Grand Junction, CO
**Pay Range:** $20.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Fabricate wire rope and chain slings, along with related assemblies.
+ Calculate material cut lengths, determine fitting requirements, and select appropriate equipment to produce various lifting assemblies.
+ Review, interpret, and understand work orders to fabricate lifting assemblies according to training guidelines.
+ Count, record, and report inventory as required.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
+ Strong reading and writing skills.
+ Good analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
+ Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math operations.
+ Self-motivated and hard-working with teamwork experience preferred.
