Job Title: Wire Harness TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a talented Wire Harness Technician to join our team, specializing in the fabrication and assembly of prototype wire harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies for electric vehicles. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing clean-tech startup, contributing to innovative projects aimed at introducing new products to market. Responsibilities + Build and assemble prototype wire harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies for electric vehicles. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. + Perform electrical checkouts, including continuity and insulation testing, using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermocouples. + Execute high-quality PCB and wire soldering, including Surface Mount Device components, and wire termination. + Route and install harnesses within vehicles, ensuring proper cable management and installation integrity. Essential Skills + Strong proficiency in soldering, including SMD and QFN techniques. + Crimping and wire termination expertise. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Experience with testing high-voltage DC (~400V) and AC (~240V) systems. + Proficiency in using electronic lab tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with redlining and troubleshooting electrical systems. + Familiarity with creating prototype harnesses. + Knowledge of high-voltage systems and surface mount technology.
