The Wire Harness Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing the design, assembly, installation, and testing of electrical harnesses and avionics systems for aerospace or defense projects. This position ensures that all activities comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project timelines, while managing a dedicated team of technicians.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and assemble electrical harnesses and avionics systems.Install and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with engineering standards.Oversee project timelines and ensure adherence to safety regulations.Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and support.Essential SkillsExperience with wire harnessing, specifically with 28awg or smaller.Current IPC 620 certification (SPACE addendum preferred, expired certifications accepted if expired within the last six months).Ability to perform hand soldering of components, particularly solder cups.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a supervisor.Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.Troubleshooting skills in avionics and electrical systems.Why Work Here?Join a company with a startup mentality, offering significant room for growth both financially and in position.
