Job Title: Wire Cutter - 3rd ShiftJob Description

The role involves cutting wire and cable according to customer orders and preparing shipments for various customer sites. You will utilize standard tools to accurately measure and cut wires, read material lists and order sheets, and stage orders for dispatch.

ResponsibilitiesCut wire and cable per customer orders.Use standard tools for measuring and cutting wires.Read and interpret material lists and order sheets.Prepare and stage customer orders for shipment.
Essential SkillsProficiency with wire cutters and machine operation.Experience in general labor and warehouse inventory management.Ability to use measurement tools such as tape measures and calculators.Understanding of material handling and cutting tools.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a Machine Operator is ideal.Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of foot markers.Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a traditional warehouse environment with potential exposure to seasonal temperatures. Safety shoes are required, and safety goggles and gloves may be necessary. The role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and freely walk and move using material handling equipment. The shift is from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
