**Job Title: Assembler**
Job Description
The assembler will work with fiber cables, measuring, cutting, and placing them in clips. Following blueprints or detailed work instructions, the assembler will accurately feed color-coded wires through connectors. Once the wires are fed, a small drop of epoxy is applied, and the wires are pulled through to complete a coating process. The assembly is then placed in a curing device, polished, and tested to ensure proper connections. The role involves using small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes to complete the assemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Measure and cut fiber cables.
+ Place cables into clips following blueprints.
+ Feed color-coded wires through connectors with precision.
+ Apply epoxy and complete the wire coating process.
+ Cure, polish, and test assemblies for quality assurance.
+ Utilize hand tools, microscopes, and projection scopes for assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of manufacturing experience in small parts or medical device assembly.
+ Proficiency in using guidewires, hand tools, and microscopes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Capability to distinguish colors accurately for wire placement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in catheter and wire assembly.
+ Knowledge of clean room assembly processes.

Work Environment
This role is based in a newly renovated facility with ongoing upgrades, located in a clean room environment that does not require specialized attire. Business casual dress is acceptable. While a smock is required, additional personal protective equipment is optional and provided. As this is a new division, early hires will play a key role in shaping processes and contributing to a dynamic and rapidly expanding team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
