Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Windows Engineer to join their team. As a Windows Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure Support team supporting enterprise-level Windows environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Windows Engineer (NC, AZ, VA)
**Location: Richmond, VA / Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ**
**Pay Range** : $50-$57/hr on W2
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide mid-level technical support for Windows OS and related infrastructure issues
+ Investigate, diagnose, and resolve Windows OS, CU, and upgrade-related problems
+ Develop and update scripts to automate log collection and improve system efficiency
+ Manage ITSM Remedy queue by creating and tracking incident tickets
+ Collaborate with OS engineering teams to implement performance improvements and verify updates
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 3 years of experience as a Windows engineer or 5 years in a Windows support role
+ Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments
+ Strong scripting skills with PowerShell
+ Deep understanding of desktop hardware and software systems
+ Ability to analyze data logs and utilize tools like Splunk for troubleshooting
