Wind Tunnel Test Engineer
Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Wind Tunnel Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Wind Tunnel Testing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Test Engineer **Location:** Fremont, CA **Pay Range:** $68 per hour **What's the Job?** + Lead the technical execution of wind tunnel testing to evaluate sensor performance under various weather conditions. + Standardize testing methodologies to ensure repeatability and accuracy across different environmental scenarios. + Design and develop complex experimental setups and test matrices for aerodynamic and environmental testing. + Operate and maintain wind tunnel instrumentation, including pressure transducers, anemometers, and water spray systems. + Analyze sensor data and environmental impacts, providing insights to improve autonomous vehicle safety and performance. **What's Needed?** + At least 2 years of experience in aerodynamic testing, experimental fluid mechanics, or automotive environmental testing.
