**Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced** **WiFi Engineer** **to join their team. This role involves planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing wireless network systems of high complexity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless technologies, network architecture, and troubleshooting, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
+ Design and implement wireless network enhancements and recommend improvements.
+ Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, and protocols into complete wireless network configurations.
+ Evaluate new wireless products and technologies for integration into existing systems.
+ Resolve complex wireless network issues and develop methods of procedure (MOPs).
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations and upgrades.
**Required Qualifications**
**Technical Skills**
+ Proficient understanding of wireless networking concepts including the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
+ Strong knowledge of wireless industry standards and protocols (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants).
+ Experience with wireless network design, architecture, and topology.
+ Familiarity with wireless network devices and appliances.
+ Proficiency in using network design tools such as Microsoft Visio.
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless networking.
**Certifications**
+ Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
+ Vendor-specific training and certifications (e.g., Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus) are highly desirable.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 5–10 years of experience in wireless network engineering.
+ Experience with wireless network performance tuning and optimization.
+ Familiarity with emerging wireless technologies and trends.
