Job Summary:

Provides administrative support for planning, organizing, budgeting and directing for regional behavioral health specialty service line. Prioritizes and directs implementation of strategic initiatives supporting the business goals. Responsible for guiding clinical practice as directed; for alignment of quality initiatives; and analysis of clinical outcomes for sensitive indicators and identified key performance indicators. Responsible for setting operational goals, planning, and staffing for behavioral health services. Accountable for all departments, both inpatient, outpatient and central intake, and regional behavioral health overall delivery of services.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accountable for all behavioral health service departments within the region as assigned. Achieves outcomes on assigned units to include satisfaction, quality, financial and safety.Develops short-term and long-range strategic goals/plans for services, operating/capital budgets, and integrated strategic/financial plans.Establishes policies, procedures and protocols related to interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions including telehealth assessments. Oversight of workflow process for effective patient throughput within the ministry and regionally.Coordinates assignment of personnel in collaboration with managers to areas consistent with their qualifications and maintains accountability.Develops new programs and enhancements to existing ones.Utilizes personnel and supplies consistently within budgetary guidelines. Proactively plans workforce needs in collaboration with Leaders. Prepares service area budgets and ensures that all departments operate in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.Collaborates with Ministry Leadership Teams across the region to achieve optimal outcomes.Collaborates with healthcare staff to achieve preventative, supportive, and restorative goals for patients.Establishes and monitors operating performance goals and metrics.Identifies opportunities to mitigate risk and improve processes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.Directs and evaluates all clinical activities, including care plan development, service level agreements, and complaint management.Demonstrates the ability to analyze situations, consider alternatives, formulate and implement solutions, and evaluate results.Recruits, engages, develops, leads, and manages assigned staff.   Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field


EXPERIENCE

Seven years' experience, with five years' in leadership

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
