Summary
Play a vital role in keeping our products moving safely and efficiently! As a Warehouse Technician, you’ll help drive production success by accurately handling materials, supporting inventory flow, and ensuring products meet our high standards. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll work hands-on with poultry products, use equipment to move materials, and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace, all while supporting strong food safety and quality practices every step of the way.
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 3:00pm-12:00am
Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Utilizing production schedules issue and returning products to production and transports materials to and from designated areas in the facility using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
· Unload trucks and correctly complete receiving paperwork
· Verify lot numbers to ensure a first in, first out process
· Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
· Complete cycle counts and input information into SAP.
· Maintain a clean and safety working environment while performing all duties in a safe manner following facility guidelines.
· Follow all Food Safety programs.
· Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions to management.
· Participate in Company and department safety programs.
Minimum Education and Experience
· Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
Preferred Education and Experience
· High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
· Experience in a processing/manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
When in a plant environment:
· May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and100% humidity.
· May be exposed to noise ranges of 50db to 110 db.
· May be exposed to dust and all chemicals used in processing facility.
· Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
· Able to stand for several hours.
· Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
