Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our shop team. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, can read prints, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate work. This role involves fitting, welding, and fabricating custom parts and assemblies in a shop environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and/or TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbolsLayout, fit, and fabricate custom components and assembliesOperate shop equipment such as welders, grinders, saws, brakes, and shearsMaintain quality standards and ensure welds meet specificationsFollow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaWork independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlinesQualificationsPrevious welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environmentProficiency in MIG welding required; TIG experience a plusAbility to read prints and use basic measuring toolsStrong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipReliable attendance and strong work ethicMust be able to pass a weld testPreferred (But Not Required)Custom fabrication or job-shop experienceExperience welding structural, stainless, or aluminum componentsCertifications (AWS or equivalent)Experience fitting and fabricating from raw materialBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth insurance and benefits package [customize as needed]Paid holidays and PTOStable, long-term work in a well-equipped shopOpportunities to grow skills and advance within the company

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
