**Job Title: Welder/Pipefitter** Job Description This role is ideal for a plumber or sheet metal worker with experience in commercial construction who is interested in transitioning into HVAC pipefitting. You will work alongside experienced pipefitters and HVAC technicians, learning how to install and maintain piping systems for chillers, boilers, pumps, and other HVAC equipment. Training will be provided in HVAC-specific piping layouts. Responsibilities + Assist in the installation of piping systems for HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, pumps, and air handlers. + Read and interpret mechanical drawings and piping schematics. + Support layout and routing of piping systems in commercial buildings. + Collaborate with HVAC technicians and project managers to ensure proper system integration. + Learn HVAC-specific pipefitting techniques and standards. + Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment. + Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes. + Install, maintain, and repair piping systems that support heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in commercial buildings. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in plumbing, sheet metal work, or related mechanical trades. + Familiarity with commercial construction environments. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. + Experience with pipe cutting, threading, and joining methods. + Willingness to learn HVAC-specific piping systems and techniques. + Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with hydronic systems or HVAC piping. + Welding or brazing certifications. + Familiarity with chilled water or steam systems Why Work Here?
