Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $25.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:45pm)Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and metal components in a production environmentWeld frames, panels, and assemblies according to prints, weld symbols, and specificationsSet up welding equipment, selecting proper wire, gas, and machine settings based on material type and thicknessMaintain consistent weld quality, penetration, and appearance to meet structural and cosmetic standardsConduct visual inspections and measurements to ensure welds met quality requirementsPerform grinding, finishing, and rework as needed to meet final specificationsWork closely with fabrication and assembly teams to meet daily production goalsMaintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work areaWelder - MIG and / or TIG Qualifications:
Previous MIG and TIG welding experience requiredStrong TIG welding experience preferred, especially on aluminum materialsAbility to produce clean, consistent welds that meet structural and cosmetic standardsExperience welding to prints, weld symbols, and specificationsComfortable setting up welding machines, selecting proper wire, gas, and settingsAbility to inspect welds for quality and make adjustments as neededMust be able to work in heat Will be taking a welding test Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
