**Job Title:** Welder/Machine Operator
**1st Shift**
**Description**
+ Operate and maintain machinery used in fabrication, ensuring proper function and production efficiency.
+ Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical or programming issues.
+ Tack and weld sheet metal components using GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
+ Inspect weldments for defects and monitor automated welding equipment to ensure consistent weld quality and adherence to specifications.
+ Perform related tasks such as grinding, cutting, deburring, and removing scrap from tables to maintain workflow.
+ Follow and enforce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements, safety procedures, and company policies.
+ Work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
+ Assist in the final assembly of products, ensuring proper fit and finish.
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ They are responsible for operating equipment in a safe and productive manner, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
+ This role requires technical expertise in welding, machine operation, and fabrication processes while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
+ Must pass a 3G weld test
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Fishers, IN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
