**Job Title: Welder & Fitter** **Job Description** We are a custom fabrication and welding shop that partners with large equipment manufacturers. The role requires expertise in MIG welding on steel up to 1" thick and occasionally on stainless steel. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, laying out materials, and assembling/welding according to specifications. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on steel up to 1" thick and on stainless steel as required. + Interpret and work from blueprints to assemble and weld components. + Utilize flux core, multi-pass welding techniques. + Read and understand weld symbols. + Self-sufficiently manage your workload and workspace. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding and flux core techniques. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Minimum of 2 years of welding experience. + Self-sufficiency in managing tasks and responsibilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding. + Strong fit-up skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values individual space and offers a supportive work environment. Although the shop is older, darker, and typical of most welding environments, each individual has their own workspace. You are encouraged to personalize your area, for example by bringing in a mini fridge. The equipment is well-maintained, though not state-of-the-art. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Seymour, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
