We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team, focusing on constructing large metal structures for robotics machines. This position requires strong welding and mechanical skills to ensure all projects meet client specifications and are presentable for customers.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on large metal structures according to client specifications.Execute TIG welding as needed.Conduct fittings and mechanical assembly for robotics machines.Ensure all welds are aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound.Read and interpret blueprints for welding and fitting tasks.Use hand tools and tape measures accurately in the assembly process.Maintain a high level of safety at all times.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience in mechanical assembly and fabrication.Strong mechanical aptitude.Familiarity with stainless steel and SMAW welding techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift 50 lbs regularly.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with fitting, fabrication, and the use of hand tools.Ability to use both metric and standard sockets, ballpin and deadblow hammers, and flathead and Phillips screwdrivers.Why Work Here?Join a growing company in a promising industry that offers great benefits upon permanent employment. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is non-climate controlled, with shifts running from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Employees must bring their own tools, including standard wrenches, metric and standard sockets, hammers, and screwdrivers.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
