**Job Title: Welder & Fitter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Welder & Fitter to join our team, responsible for the structural layout and fitting of steel according to blueprints. You will be tasked with fitting, laying out, and fabricating structural steel projects. The role involves performing tack welds to prepare pieces of steel for welding and the ability to MIG weld structural steel in both vertical and horizontal positions. While 3G certification is preferred, we are willing to train motivated candidates. You'll also work with machining equipment such as plasma cutters, shears, and presses to aid in fabrication. . **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2+ years of experience in laying out, fitting, and fabricating steel beams or raw materials. + Experience in fabrication and welding, specifically with structural steel. + Proficiency in blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretation. + Tech-savvy with the ability to read prints on an iPad. + Understanding of MIG welding equipment setup and maintenance. + Knowledge of appropriate wire types and shielding gases. + Familiarity with welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, and wire feed speed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of CARLISLE, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
