Job Title: Welder FitterJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Welder Fitter to join our team on either 1st shift (6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday with potential Saturday workThis role offers a flexible scheduleThe Welder Fitter will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to perform the initial fit-up of welded assemblies, communicating directly with engineering, and working with minimal supervisionResponsibilitiesRead and interpret mechanical blueprints, both detail and assemblyPerform initial fit-up of welded assembliesCommunicate directly with engineering when requiredOperate overhead cranes with a capacity of up to 50 tonsOperate fork trucks and man liftsManually lift 20-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyUse micrometers and precision measuring instrumentsManipulate work using proficient fork truck and overhead crane skillsEssential Skills5 years of blueprint reading experience5 years of Flux Core/MIG welding experience5 years of fitting experience1-inch plate fitting and welding expertisePay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
