**Welder / Fitter** **Paying $28 - $32** **Location - Vancouver, WA** We are seeking skilled welders and fitters to join our team and work on structural fitting and welding tasks. The role involves using dual shield and 1/16th welding techniques to create steel components based on blueprints and structural drawings. **Responsibilities:** + Perform structural fitting and welding using dual shield and 1/16th welding techniques. + Utilize blueprints and structural drawings to accurately layout and fit steel components. + Ensure adherence to AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards in all welding tasks. + Participate in the fabrication of structural steel for infrastructure projects. **Qualifications:** + Minimum of 3 years experience in structural welding or fitting. + Familiarity with D1.5 standards. + Proficiency in welding and fitting structural steel. + Experience with AWS D1.1 standards. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings. + Skill in flux core and dual shield welding. **Environment/ Shift:** + The work will be conducted in a shop located in Vancouver, supporting both local and field projects. The environment is designed for fabrication of steel structural components, ensuring a focused and efficient workspace. + Day shift, Monday - Friday 6am -2:30pm + OT as needed.
